Elizabeth Quay Funfair | Dec 6th – Jan 9th

Perth City

Head into the city for the ever-popular Elizabeth Quay Funfair, with rides, games, food, entertainment, fireworks and Santa!

Entry is free to the fair, but to enter the rides and games, you must purchase tokens or wristbands which are available online, or at the event.

Rio Tinto Christmas Light Trail | Nov 22nd – Jan 1st

Choose to see all 20 light installations on the 4 Km route, or go for the family-friendly ‘Merry Mile’ 1.6 Km option. Both routes start in Yagan Square and are entirely free!

A perfect summer school holiday activity enjoyed in the evening when the sun is going down and the temperature is cooling off.

Fringe Kids | Jan 17th to Feb 16th

Various locations and dates around Perth

The kid-friendly section of the Fringe World – an annual, live entertainment festival with a massive variety including circus acts, music, crazy science, dance, and more!

Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day, and shows are conveniently arranged into suitable age ranges with ages covered from 0 to teens.

A Snowy Christmas | Nov 23rd – Dec 15th (weekends 4 – 8 PM)

Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge

See the festive lights (up until January 2nd) and visit Santa at the James St Amphitheatre. With falling snow and a variety of food trucks for a fun-filled evening out.

Boola Bardip WA Museum School Holiday Fun

Perth City

Various dates and activities throughout the holidays.

Take the dinosaur tour, enjoy storytime, or the reptile meet-and-greet amongst other activities at the Museum of Western Australia during the summer holidays.

The Codebreakers scavenger hunt is a family fun highlight, where you receive a kit upon entry to work your way through the museum, breaking codes and solving puzzles to reveal the secret agent.

Most activities are included in the price of entry and some need to be booked in advance.

Mind Buzz Minecraft Camps

Various locations and dates through December and January

A drop-and-leave option for all the Minecraft fans out there, best suited for 7 – 14-year-olds. Mind Buzz Minecraft Camps are a mix of learning all things Minecraft alongside teamwork and challenges.

Price is $89 for the day and booking is essential.
