Rollerzone

The largest roller skating rink in Perth! Rollerzone is a one-stop shop for all things roller skating, with lessons, a variety of sessions, roller discos, kids’ parties, and a pro shop on-site.

The entire roller rink has a world-class hardwood-sprung timber floor and a handrail the entire way around – a welcome addition for beginners! For free you can also use the retro gaming machines at the venue, or take a break at the on-site cafe.

Rolloways

Rolloways has a definite retro vibe with a cafe and arcade games on-site alongside the roller rink, complete with lasers and disco lighting.

As with all of the rinks on the list, sessions are more frequent during school holidays so check out the timetables before rolling up. Just remember to take cash – they don’t have card machines.

Rollerrama

After their grand re-opening in 2023, Rollerrama has skated from strength to strength and is quickly becoming one of Perth’s best roller skating rinks!

They hold the usual free skate sessions alongside kids sessions, adults-only sessions, coffee morning skates, lessons, and their very popular Roller Disco.

With skate hire available and reasonable prices this is a great have-a-go venue for kids and adults. Opening times change during the school holidays, making this a great indoor activity for kids when you’ve had enough of the weather.

Morley Rollerdrome

A popular skate rink with general admission sessions at the weekends and some evenings, increasing to opening daily during school holidays.

Staff are friendly and happy to lend a helping hand to get you on your wheels. Lessons are also available to help you get to grips with tricks, spins, artistic skating and speed skating.

Skate hire is complementary and entry is only $15 per session, making Morley Rollerdrome the most budget-friendly roller rink on the list.

Street Roller Hockey League

These guys are all about having fun and playing some hockey. They train outdoors at the slabs at Victoria Park and Bayswater – get in touch for times.

They don’t take themselves too seriously, so expect to have a pucking good time!

Perth Velocity

An indoor, inline hockey club with house leagues for players of all levels, running three seasons per year.

Perth Velocity holds weekly drop-in training sessions at the Speed Dome in Midvale (Middle Swan), perfect for those wanting to give roller hockey a go.

Perth Outdoor Rollerblading Meetup

A free, social group for those on rollerblades or skates (or scooters and bikes – the more the merrier!).
